Message from the Foundation President, Larry Matheson:

In the past five years, the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation has been able to provide over 2.2 million dollars to provide health care for the residents of Prince Edward County. This money has been spent to buy equipment and make capital improvements (the new Emergency Department) at our Hospital in Picton.

In recent years since Quinte Health Care was formed, we have also contributed to non-duplicated equipment needs in Belleville that County residents make use of.

As we enter in a new era of health care wtih plans to create a new facility in Picton where seamless health care is available at one site, the Foundation will have to raise a lot more money to make this happen.

I would like to thank all of our past contributors and look forward to your support in the future as we try to advance health care for our County residents.

-Larry Matheson, president
