Marla Allan

Marla retired from a lengthy executive Human Resources career in multiple industries in Canada and the US. Her professional career, spent in Fortune 500 Companies, spanned retail, financial services, technology and health services.



 Marla is passionate about lifelong learning and networking with other talented leaders to collaborate on new ideas and perspectives that contribute to organizations and to the community. She holds SPHR and CHRE certifications, a Bachelor of Arts and a certificate in Solutions Focused Coaching. She has always been actively engaged in not-for-profit work including board positions and creating organization programs that encourage employee volunteerism. Marla is currently a volunteer consultant with Management Advisory Services (MASAdvise) providing leadership coaching and manager development within a number of small Toronto-based charities and recently joined the Board of County Stage.


Marla’s other passions include cycling, hiking, kayaking, travel and can often be seen walking her 90 pound Bernadoodle.
