Applications are now open. Application deadline: Friday, January 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) Foundation, with generous support from The County Guys Real Estate Group, offers an annual education bursary to support Quinte Health employees in advancing their healthcare careers.
Valued at up to $2,500, the bursary is available to permanent part-time and full-time Quinte Health staff in any role, with a focus on those working at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital in Picton. Funding helps offset the cost of education that supports professional growth in healthcare.

On March 3, 2025, The County Guys Real Estate Group and Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) Foundation presented a $2,500 bursary to Cody-Rae Fowler, a Cherry Valley resident who works as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Inpatient Unit as well as the Emergency and Endoscopy Departments at PECMH. Fowler is set to begin her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) at Loyalist College while continuing her work at our County hospital.
“My nursing program has been such an incredible experience so far. I’m really enjoying the hands-on learning in clinical placements and the opportunity to connect with patients and make a difference in their care. As soon as I received the bursary, I was able to pay my tuition right away, which took a huge weight off my shoulders.
The bursary has been a huge help, it’s allowed me to focus more on my studies and less on financial stress, which means I can fully dedicate myself to becoming the best nurse I can be. I’m so grateful to have received this bursary and being able to stay within PEC. Thank you to the County Guys for making this possible and allowing me to continue my studies close to home.”
