Golf tournament results

bboyce • June 14, 2024

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation and RE/MAX Quinte Ltd Brokerage partnered to host the 9th annual Teeing Up Fore Health Care Golf Classic at the Picton Golf & Country Club.

Ninety-six golfers teed off to

raise funds to purchase priority medical equipment needed at our hospital.

PECMHF and RE/MAX are pleased to

announce this year’s golf raised close to $40,000 for priority equipment needed

at PECMH.

Because priority equipment

purchases are not government-funded, PECMHF counts on the support from donors

to help ensure healthcare services remain close by should anyone need them now

or in the future.

“The foundation aims to partner with County businesses and others to help us meet the needs of our fundraising goals - bringing modern equipment to our current hospital and our new hospital. We are proud of RE/MAX’s ongoing efforts to Tee Up Fore Health Care in support of our County hospital,” said Shannon Coull, executive director of the PECMH Foundation.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the response from the community for this tournament and the fundraising efforts for our County hospital,” said Sean McKinney, broker of record at RE/MAX Quinte. “Our reps are extremely active and involved in this community, and they know the positive impact of a viable hospital on families. The fact that we can facilitate this tournament and be a part of helping the hospital foundation in such important work is extremely fulfilling. It is a natural extension of our business.”

This day would not have been

possible without the incredible support from our sponsors: Wilkinson &

Company LLP, Gulliver and Co. Mortgage Group, Herb and Kathy Pliwischkies from

RE/MAX Quinte, Eurotile & Stone, Market High Advertising, Monument Geomatics

& Estimating, Parkside Landscaping & Contracting, Jacklin & Sons,

Port Picton Homes, and Wellings of Picton. Over 40 hole sponsors and over 40

prize donors contributed to the day's success.

Picton

Home Hardware and Building Centre donated the prizes for the hole activities

and top foursome. The winners of the various activities throughout the day were

as follows:
